I take some things for granted but yes, I have 9/16 for mounting servos and use the 7/16 wherever possible in place of Phillips screws, that as you know, for the most part suck.

I discard servo mounting screws and use those, though the newer Spektrum servos are coming with black versions of that as well as hex head servo arm screws. I have a box of M2.6x8 (for hitec) and M3x8 for Savox and most of the others to replace the Phillips head output shaft screws as well.
McMaster Carr www.mcmaster.com is awesome for stocking up on those for cheap.
The other thing I used on the Blanik is Seacraft pull pull wire tensioners from Aztec Aeromodels.

Following the recommendations of others, I added some carbon/aramid reinforcing to my Blanik today

With a couple of coupon codes, I got the blanik down to less than 800 with free shipping in the US. I would say that's a result
