And the image given gives necessary dimensions to build it to scale... Added that image to my library of plans...

It almost looks like they took the Kyosho model and splashed a mold off of it.

Yeah, Niagra models had one at SEFF on their table. They didn't say much about it.. I'm surprised you found a page with a price on it... I guess they finally tested it and are selling them.... wish they had video....

Somebody posted pics before. From what I can tell, and I have a very accurate scale eye, it's not a copy of the Kyosho, too many differences. The cheater wing makes it look like it at first glance but look at the LEX both in the front and as it goes back toward the tail, that area is wider than the half hearted attempt that Kyosho made, and the nose is more pointed. It looks a bit better than the Kyosho but still not right. I wish they'd include an exhaust cone, that would help, and the cheater wings thing just kills the looks. If you want more wing area, do an XL version. Even with a short fuselage it would still look better I think, but then I'm picky (believe me sometimes I wish I wasn't, then I'd just buy a Kyosho T-33 and save myself the work of molding my own much more scale airplane....ok I did own 3 KY T-33s). The intake is not right of course but what this model did is easier and gives you more area.

There was a proposal back in the late 80s for an F-16 variant with 50 percent more wing area called the "Agile Falcon". The wing outline was the same but just enlarged proportianally and it didn't look bad. I wish I'd have zeroxed the 3 view when I had the book in my hand. I've seen an artist's conception of a long wing F-16 that would be a UCAV drone with a big load of bombs on the wing, it looked like the cheater stretch wings of the Kyosho, so maybe someday that will be scale...it still just doesn't look right though!

This glass model is still a step above a Kyosho though in looks. And just noticed it's all glass....sweet, it is kinda tempting, must resist....

Ed, for something of an F-16 variant with a little more wing. consider the Mitsubishi F-2. It has a good bit of the Agile Falcon in it: a larger wing and the fuse stretches. The forward fuse and inlet are scale up a little for a larger radar and there is a different canopy with a forward bowframe to protect against large bird strikes around Japan.

The center and aft fuse and vertical tail are normal F-16 parts. I like all about it except the large clipped edge of the horizontal tail. They had to do this so the tail would clear the ground in landing attitude.
