I just love sloping my DLG on the beach front in light lift!

It out performs an Alula any day!

I saw alot of DLG flying this past W/E on Green's Peak, Arizona. I'm going to say 15+ with a gust Sat. of 56mph. Matt and Everest did some real good flying. Check out the photo's on the Green's Peak photo thread.

Great video. Four stars for the on-board sequences. What camera did you use for those?

Hehehe
And I tried so hard for five stars!

It was a GoPro2 mounted on a Sky surfer with Radian wings...
The problem lies with the editing!

Lekker one, Johan! Normally on-board camera sequences send me to sleep instantly, but this was different, as it was tightly edited, and showed the other plane...

Now, "outperforms an Alula any day". Others will say a modern F3j or TD ship will outperform a DLG. Just at a whole different speed of course... This needs some discussion I think, whaddaya say?

outperforms an Alula any day......I beg to differ....

Me and my Alula plus my rookie flying skills can do things on the air and ground that no DLG could ever do.....and survive intact that is. So I believe it's relative to the context. Yes, the DLG looks and performs smooth and majestically and will out perform the little foam plank wing bird in its arena. But dollars to donuts says the Alula gives more than plenty of bang for the buck in its own arena. YMMV...just my 2 cents.
