We all fly the Crash Test Hobbies "Assassin" a 34" epp wing (because it is the toughest airplane made) with a 400 size motor and a 1300mah battery. Anyone is welcome to join in with a similar size airplane the only rule is have FUN

I predict that open flying will be the majority of the time and the slots for combat and other special events will be a fairly small percentage of the day....most come to these events to just fly.

Can you pick stocks or lottery numbers for me?

Mostly it will be open flying, with events thrown in to spice things up. One of the events is the Texas Jambalaya, a spicy mix of timed event, four aerobatic maneuvers and a spot landing.

If you have ideas for events, let me know!

Sure, we allow 3D! Do you want some 15 minute blocks for everybody to their 3D on?

let me re-phrase that - do you want some time slots for everybody to get their "3D time"?

As long as no one hovers over the center of the runway, you can usually mix 3D and all else easily without slots. Slots become required when 3D is allowed to hover in the pattern.

Just my .02...

On the subject of events at fly ins...My personal preference is that one or two is fine, but if a substantial portion of the flying day is take up by them, it is not as much fun for me, personally. I just like to fly for fun.

Events that allow only one guy to fly at a time keep all other attendees grounded and waiting to fly.....

Looking forward to this great event next week and will keep fingers crossed for light winds and sunny skies!

It is an AMA sanctoned event (listed on the AMA site) so AMA is required. Ed will have to answer if the Park membership is OK, or not.

Park Pilots are eligible to fly at class C events like this fly in, but sometimes the club has the AMA membership requirements and insurance coverage spelled out in their lease with the entity that owns the field. Ed can tell you more.
