KD175 issue

I followed the instructions here to mod a kd175 and was successful. Added a switch, super slow speed fan 1k resistor and pot, ovp and pot. Successfully running at 14.4v

I bought a second kd175 from the same place and did the same steps. For the life of me I can't get the voltage higher then about mid 13's. I even went as low as 15 ohms between D3 and D4. I measured the first supply's pot and it took 44 ohms to get it at 14.4v. I removed the ovp jumper and it didn't make a difference.

Any thoughts? I wonder if the calibration of the second psu is somehow different then the first. I tried moving the big pots a small amount one way or the other and it didn't change anything (VR200, VR201, VR601). All the connections seem tight.

I have 1 set of leads powering a PL8 and the second set will be connected to a banana plug board on the outside of the case. Could somebody please tell me if my format is acceptable and correct? I also have a SPDT I will be connecting with a servo extension lead, I know the correct pins to attach it to on the proliant but I am unsure what color wire to connect to which pin on the switch.

Any help would be appreciated
I had picked up 2 of these about a year ago and they make a ton of power but the fans sound like miniture jet engines, there is a resistor fan mod for them but I have found that the DSP1200FB is a much nicer supply to use.
Two in series with ground isolation mod give my PL-8 charger more than enough power to charge anything I throw at it
Even the big 6s 5800mah packs for my 750 heli

Hi! Quick question, can i drill through the positive and negative pin on the pcb so that i dont have to solder? Making the binding post pointing up instead to the back?

Nope. That is a multi-layer board and there are other lines sandwiched in between these. I found out the hard way. Lucky for me it still worked but I feel I got lucky. I did not install the binding post but soldered directly after seeing the shorts I caused and then fixed (3 hour job).
