For your personal entertainment.
I kept at it perhaps because it flys great in between the odd - what I considered to be funny - blooper I compiled together for this video that were mostly due to gusty winds. But hey we were having fun so why stop - That's what it's all about isn't it?
Actually though, the good flights just weren't as interesting to watch.

Hi, it's not technically a kite as it started life out as the wing off a hawkeye rc aerial platform...
made by joel scholz http://www.electricflights.com/hawkeyemainpage.html
The wing is really a work of art and Joel does some lovely new colourful designs.
All I've done is basically stripped it right back to just the delta wing and added my own design vectoring gimbal on the tail. Worked surprisingly well despite how it appears here...lol!
It's currently down for maintenance as i eventually cracked the main spar - not during this video i might add. But that's given me the chance to redesign the gimbal and the way it attaches to the main spar and also i will take this opportunity to replace all of the tubular spars for solid carbon rods which should work out better in this configuration.
The new design means I have even more weight on the tail which I'll have to address.
