Water consumption with Battery Minder
Havenít been using my deep cycles much; and keep them connected to my Battery Minder ( http://www.northerntool.com/shop/too...2201_200332201 & http://www.batteryminders.com/batter...er-desulfator/ ) in desulfate mode.
Just checked the water level since last fall Ė at/or below the top of the plates.
I didnít think the Minder would cause that much water comsumption; do others see the same?

AFAIK desulfation is accomplished by overcharging. Overcharging also causes the cells to split water to H2 and O2, thus why your cells are consuming water.
The charger should have a maintenance (float?) mode, this will keep them fully charged, without excessive water losses.
