Mode 3 for me. I get the throttle on the left, so people locally can share the same throttle on left thing. I also get the precision of having separate aileron and elevator. The compatibility of mode 2, and the advantages of mode 1...

Yes, I just got it today. Can't wait to don my bling bling around my neck at the field and show all the other fliers my RC fashion statement.
Honestly though, its not quite as f-ugly as in the pictures.
I'm just looking forward to finally having ER9X and access to 12 channels. I need to find a way to hang my Dragon Link to it. Anyone out there find a good solution for this yet?
I ordered the HK USB cable today, but I will hopefully see you on the 12th, long before I get it in the mail. Maybe I should send the radio ahead to give you a head start since we will be short on time.

I thought I read somewhere that the holes in the back were purposely there so you can mount additional stuff. Can you fashion something to mount your DragonLink directly to it?

i learned to fly full size (you call them 'real') airplanes way before radio controlled model airplanes, and with them the throttle is on the left (and aile/elev on the right) , so it was just a logical thing to me to go mode 2.

Just follow the same guides the manufacturer gives for connecting to the module pins of a JR radio.
