I already have one and my wheels are turning after seeing that vid... They are not bad flying jets, not fast and never will be but nice and stable.

Would be nice if they offered it without the EDF and ESC. Be about 20$ cheaper making it more reasonable to purchase for spare parts since I haven't seen spare parts listed anywhere.

I won mine at an event a few years ago, it was donated by Electric Jet Factory. Mine was just the airframe, no electronics. Not sure if EJF still stocks them but he is in Tucson, so shipping would most likely be cheaper than from overseas.

Doesn't look like they sell the harrier any more.

The 40$ one from HK isn't a bad price. 103$ when shipping is added which is still less then getting it from their US warehouse which ends up at 130$

What kind of gyro do you use, if any? I am having stability problems with my own VTOL.
P.S. The plane is AWESOME!!!

If f35vertical doesn't come through for you, I'll offer an almost ready to fly version for 500$ shipped in the USA

Moreno Lippi posted a new video in Jan. 2013. It looks like he used a large RC Powers F35 V2 converted to EDF VTOL. Note the air vents in the front. His YouTube comments says he uses a 64mm EDF in the nose for yaw/torque control and it has a separate battery from the main lifting EDF. He also says for stabilization he uses gyros. In previous versions he used a MultiWii and since this model has two EDFs he must use a motor control board.

F35 VTOL Hovering (0 min 58 sec)

Can anyone make out the details on the vanes in the EDF exhaust?
Are there just two vanes for pitch and roll or is one vane split for yaw also?

There are two open compartments on the top by the EDF. The battery is on the right and the esc and radio on the left?
Since the nose contains a 64mm EDF, would you say the main lifting motor is a 70mm or 90mm EDF?
If you were to make one of these, which flight control stabilization would you use:

Aircraft control surfaces:
Futaba Airplane Gyros GYA430 (pitch and yaw) and GYA431 (pitch and roll)
Spektrum AR635 AS3X receiver to contol yaw, pitch and roll.

Aircraft motor thrust:
HobbyKing KK2
MultiWii
DJI Naza
Quadrino Zoom V2
