Very nice!!! Any details available? I've been considering a forward swept planform wing of about 2 to 2.5 meters for quite a while.

Wow!

Where can I buy something like this? It's the first FPV plane I've seen which I consider "beautiful"!

Is this related to the Alula from Dream-flight? Looks like a similar design, just larger and motorized. Pretty cool.

Thanks Robert!

I like the planform of the first generation Alula, but plan a different vertical stab that won't protrude as far below the model as the original, which I suppose was designed for stability in a disk type launch.

Thanks again for posting the video!!!

Fantastic!

I want to build this. I'd like to know more about the platform, did you use the wings from another kit?

First I designed a 1.2m Alulah of EPP. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...50519&page=106 After many flights I discovered that this model is extremely good. I have never seen the Alulah of flight dreams in real. Sure my model looks a bit like that. But if it has the same flight characters...i do not know. Because I am a FPV pilot, a model has to be big enough for all the equipment especially for long range. So I came to the idea of the Super Alulah 2m.

I use 60% expo, no problem. Cg isn't that critical.

Robert,

Would you mind if I built a similar looking plane?

It's too beautiful ... and imitation is the purest form of flattery ;-)

No, feel free to make a plane like this yourself!

I've made for all parts a mould, so if you need for example a fuselage plus cockpit, I can make for you. 50 euro for the fuselage, 10 euro for the cockpit-cabine.

...just a thought: if you were to kit this or make an RTF, you'd sell a ton of them, especially if the wings were colored to look like a hawk.

Flies much better than one would suspect.

Also, this is the first FPV that really looks an FBV (first bird view).
