Small and mighty multirotors post here

Hi all

I have been looking on the net for some inspiration to build another quad and have noticed that for some time there is a trend for small ( sub 300 mm ) mulitirotos but with high power to weight ratio hence what I refer to as the "small and mighty" class of craft , or we could just go with S&M (maybe not )

Such as the superb "BLACKOUT" , QAV 250 etc

so I thought it would be great if people posted their "small and mighty" multis in one spot to see what is out there what has been created in the man cave, or just links or info on S&M stuff you have come across that is interesting

regards Jeff

That's a good idea. I was contemplating building a small quad. The 'Blackout' is in my opinion expensive, but there must be other options.

There's a whole multi-rotor forum here. Probably get better response there.

Interesting, really nice, folding design "floating frame" made from G10 (PCBs are made from copper coated G10) god only knows where they found G10 3mm thick though

Nice one, in theory capable of 32 amps so it would be quite "mighty" with the right motors

Reading the reviews, they say it is only good for 2s. That will not make it 'mighty'. Got to be 3s surely?

Here is my little quad, going to produce and sell it soon, no thread of it yet.

3 different models will be produced, standart/standart 6inch props version/vibration dampening version.

on the pictures you see the standart version, still hasn't found a name for it

jan 2014 so new as I write this...... looks very similar to the blackout IMO appears to be of similar high quality with the useful addition of a dampened mini cam (mobius etc ) mount , but I cant see any dedicated fpv cam board as on the blackout ,it is a little cheaper and is designed to use 5" or 6" props......nice
