AFAIK there is no index but there is a "search this thread" tool at the upper left of the thread... and a search forums tool above that at the top-left of the page... and a separate "scale drawing and 3-view" forum with a sticky thread for requesting help finding a particular aircraft.

The page numbers do me little good, as the number of posts per page is a value each user can change. For example, I have mine set to 30 posts per page and I am currently looking at post 393, on page 14.

By all means, build your own table of contents based on reply number, then.

I'm OK, thanks. I was assuming you'd meant your list for general use and was trying to be helpful. I stand corrected.

That's exactly why I created it. The point I was making -- too subtly, apparently -- is that if somebody makes a concerted effort to be helpful, perhaps the first thing to do isn't to tell them why it's worthless, even if it doesn't suit your particular needs perfectly. It's not polite.

You are right and I do most sincerely ask your pardon.

I was tired and grieving over other things; and, I forgot to adhere to one of my own usual rules; to offer criticism in a private post.

I am sorry.

DHC-4A Caribou?

Does anyone know of plans, or even better a model that could be made to fly, of a DHC-4A Caribou or its US military equivalent?

Those things flew me and my brother infantryman into and out of some of the most godforsaken, short, rattling tin strip runways you could imagine in Vietnam in 67 and 68. Give 'em a 1500 foot runway between two mountains and they'd only use 2/3 of it.

Ideally I'd like to find one in the 1 to 2 meter range.

I've got 3 view drawings on the original factory brochure, but I don't know the first thing about turning that into a model.

(I wonder I'd I can figure out some retracts...)

Hello everyone! I'm looking for some schematics on the structure around the window on a 737. More specifically the shape and thickness (material would be awesome as well ) of the reinforcements around the window. Anyone has any idea of where to look for it?
