Starting DLE 30
I have 2 DLE 30's that run great. My only problem is that if they have set a while, say a week or two, they are hard to start. I end up having to use a starter the first time. After that they will start the first or second flip. My question is when you choke the cold engine, where do you set your throttle. I always set mine at idle. I'm thinking that is my problem.

Just off the idle here. I start them the same way (just off the idle).
Choke plate centered in carb bore, allowing it to close completely? The screw that secures them has been kown to loosen. Have you considered soldering the hole in the choke plate for better fuel draw?
