1500KV needs 5S or 6S to get propspeeds for a surfacepiercing prop.
The motorcan length suggest a medium size hull, limiting the physical size (mAh + runtime) of the lipo, to keep the boat weight down.
The specs look a bit 'Chinese': 1115W : 18,5V = 60A where a 45A ESC is recommended?
Otherwise, the motor looks good, ventilation for the rotor and a nice jacket included.
I wouldn't prop too large though.
I don't have a hull for it, otherwise I'd volonteer to be a guineapig...
For a boat I'd rather go for something like this on 4S:

I agree with Jans motor selection, you cant beat a 3656 1800kv on 4s........right in the "zone".
EDIT: BTW, the main pic at the top states a 3650, the title states 3656, and the specs say 3657 they dont even know what they are selling.
