My traxxas slash just cant take the beating I pu tit through. I am lucky if it makes it through 3 batteries without something breaking. I am just fed up with it.

the slash is one of the more durable trucks out there. what are you doing with it? And what replacement parts are you using? Buy RPM, not the stock ones. lifetime waranty and they almost never break! they are awesome!

Well, I race with about 8 other guys on a small fla dirt track and these things are always hitting other trucks and flipping over and doing flips and cartwheels and whatnot. I have been buying mostly stock parts, but recently i bought mip rear axles. They havent broken, but that is because my right rear wheel keeps falling off. It seems one of the hex adapters has worn into a rounder shape and the wheel is slipping. The hax adapter gets really hot to.

The slash is definitely the most durable SCT out there, if you're breaking it constantly you're definitely being pretty abusive to it.

I love Losi trucks, but if he's constantly breaking a Slash he'll go through even more parts with a Losi.

I upgraded the hex nuts to aluminum, made sure the wheels were on tight and adjusted the slipper clutch to give it a little slippage. I run the full MIPS upgrades on all 4 wheels, too.

I beat the living snot out of my 2wd brushless Slash and haven't broken anything serious. I usually replace broken parts with RPM (axle blocks, bearing carriers, etc). I also have the chassis reinforcement plate too. Usually I just bend shock rods, so I have a few of them in my toolbox. A friend of mine has an HPI truck and is always breaking stuff.
