Airhogs hyperactives brough back to life
So I bought these for my 5 year old twins almost 18 months ago when they were on sale for $20 each.
After only a few months they stopped taking a charge and while they were sitting around they pulled off some of the tires. I had completely forgot about them, but the other day one of my boys found them and begged me to make them work again.
I ended up putting micro-t street meats on one (because no tires) and soldered in new 160mah 1s lipos. Walla! Back to life!
They run for about 2 hours straight before needing to be recharged. yesterday they played with them all day on and off and when I went to recharge I only put about 100mah into each battery. I think the original batteries were only 30mah.
Now to just get the charging port to work again, so I don't keep having to remove the batteries...
