Hello DD,
I found your new project here. I misunderstood the version plane you are making. I confused it with the Sikorsky S-39B single engine plane. That is OK though. This is the big mother of that plane. I like this project. Off to a fast start here. I want to see this one in the Joe Nall 2013 flight reports too. That is a lot of plan drawing there. This is looking like it may use plenty of CF rods in the fuselage to wing mounting also. I just love these classics. Congratulations for picking up on a model of great interest. At least you are not making a plane others commonly build. Thanks for your introduction comments. I get embarrased easily I guess. I will be watching this one too.

Bob I'm honored Sir!. . . .I grew up dreaming about these china clippers. . . .they harken back to a "golden age" of passenger flight that we no longer have.

Bob when it comes to these flying boats I'm standing on the sh oulders of great Giants like yourself so I will need your thoughts & advice. . .. so keep an eye on what I'm doing here. . .. because if I build these S-40's the same way I build my dry land birds I'm in a whole heap of trouble.
