Gee, had not thought to do that.
I have the SAE one Great Planes sells, from my local hobby shop.
The composite APC uses are tough, so far so good, with no real effort.
Not sure how to refresh the edges with out changing the over all diameter.
More power!

Maiden was today I had four (brand new) LiPos to break in and all went well, mostly. Plane was slightly tail heavy (not very surprising, my new motor is lighter than specs and the LiPos are too), still well within the manageability boundaries but definitely twitchy. Although I had to input quite a bit of aileron trim, which puzzles me. The four flaps sat perfectly level with the wingtips, I didn't notice any gross skewness in the airframe which could account for this much correction.

US #1 needed pretty much the same amount...

Do you guys have much aileron trim on your sticks too?

Practically none.
25e is set up with just ailerons.
Lateral CG was too close to call, so I left it as is.
Are the servos well matched and set for their best resolution?
Just thinking out loud..
I did have a foamy Corsair were the motor would intermittently bind on the mount.
This threw the bird all over and took a time to diagnose!
Not much chance of that with a stick!
Glad you are back up !

Looking in DX8 TX ailerons have 19 beeps left, their Hs225 servos are set for110%, travel, no sub trim.
Rudder has three beeps left. Hugh must not have centered on arm 95% left 110% right no sub trim. (Wonder if I did that correctly, could have used sub trim, it works!)
The elevator has travels at 125% zero sub trim and two beeps up on the face.

19 seems like a lot, but it flies.s great! No reason to mess with that!

Tracks on rails through loops , rolls and tail slides.
In and out and inverted, much like the mini.

Not sure how many beeps are on the face, 19 seems about half way.
It is still set to the default gradation, which I think is about 4X sub trim beeps.
Think that is adjustable in the 8.

Lots of rain, enough!
All summer no mud for the pigs
