Setup for new Heli

Hey guys....

I am a new heli pilot! Yippeeeeeeee....it's crazy! Although I have 20+ years flying airplanes....this is a whole new world. I don't know squat!

I bought a little electric hummingbird.... and need help with the setup.

Is there a way to make sure the gyro is set properly and how to setup the trim?

Thanks for the help....as usual.

Eric

It'd be a big help to know which gyro . FI a HH gyro trim is a no no, as the gyro considers it input. The EHBG sticky at the top of the forum will be an immeasurable help to you, as would RADD'S school of rotary flight. Not trying to be a hole but they both will save you a lot of grief.

GIve us a picture if you can, may be easier than trying to ID the parts if youre a newbie.

Here's a link to Radd's training.

Thanks for that. Its' funny that I have been doing exactly what Radd's advice has been this week. First three days just sliding around on the floor....and then finally up in the air eye level....it was like it just happened! What an insane rush! I thought after ds'ing my gliders, it didn't get any better. I will use Radd's advice to continue my training.

Thanks again guys...this forum has always proven well for me! Unlike my other (aquarium fish) forums that seem to flame each other all the time...this is rather refreshing.
