Why didnt you follow the plan? I told you the measurment for the blades was in inches "not feet"

the problem with pulse jets is that the faster you go the more thrust is produced ..so you accellerate and the faster you go .... the more thrust you produce and you accelerte and the faster you go ....etc ...........AAAAaaaaaaaggggggHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Well with about 10 flights under its blades I've got Rex-XL just about trimmed out, so I thought it was about time I sorted out a canopy for it.
I tried a 3 litre pop bottle but that was nowhere near big enough for the usual shrink it round a plug method, I couldn't even get the little end in (story of my life  ).So I settled on a solid one cut out of foam (roofing insulation rescued from a skip! )which was tissued, doped and solarfilmed. This has also saved me having to fork out for a pilot.Just hope magnets and a bit of velcro can hold it! Cheers Rich |

It somehow just didn't look right without the canopy but now its a proper REX, nice work. What sort of dope did you use? Chas |
