Those of you with the Mini Z.
If you are following my set up. Make sure you get the motor as close to the fuse as possible. If not you will find your CG off by an 1/2 inch! I posted the two pictures below to show how mine is mounted! Also I did use the Gobrushless.com motor mount. http://www.gobrushless.com/shop/inde...=MDRITEWINGMNT I had to drill it out and then shave mill off about .25 of an inch. So the lenght is now .75 inch long. Also the motor I am using can be runn on a 7x3 prop on 3S 1800. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...208_2150_.html But it has to be a High C setup. I got 325 watts running one. The motor got pretty warm. But not hot! Check your setup first before you go and bun it up! Running a 6X4 Apc pusher prop got me 235 watts. I was able to fly for 12 mins on a 1800 and mostly 3/4 to wot! As with the 7 X 3 i only could fly for 8-9mins! That is all! |
