Question
Where are the BF 109 E Models ???

Hey Guys, there are lot of BF 109 G models out there. The FMS, Dynam etc... but I can't for the life of me find a BF 109 E model out there anywhere. Does anyone know of any BF 109 E models in an ARF in the 1400mm size? FMS first BF 109 was an E model

Aside from the gear not being scale I think it looks pretty cool and would be fun to MOD but its not available. Links would be awesome if you guys know of any.

The current 1400mm FMS BF-109 is and "F" version. With a retractable tail wheel.

Not an ARF, the the GWS 109 is an E model and is about as easy to build as it gets and not a bad flying model, although more in the 1m span range. Probably their most scale also. Used to be that there weren't anything but E models.

The GWS model is too small. I can't even find a Balsa kit in the size range i am thinking of. The BF 109 E models do not start showing up until you get into the 70 inch wing span. Thats to big for me. I think this one looks pretty sweet

I feel your pain. I'd love a yellow-nosed 109E with retracts and flaps, at about 44" or so wingspan . . .

ya.... right now it seems the only alternative is to build one. But my FW 190 I am building isn't quite ready to get off the bench yet, there is not enough room to start another plane. What I need is a little workshop.

O that looks nice.... but I can't find it anywhere. The Kyosho Merschmitt Bf 109E 40 ARF wasn't bad looking either but I can't find it anywhere states side either. The quest continues....

Has anyone ever heard of these guys ? The 109 actually doesn't look to bad at all. I wonder if it could be modded to accept retracts.
