Nah, dead serious. I was able to get into FPV for cheap, I already had the LCD screen for the kids DVD player. I was having trouble with trying to see the screen during the day, even with hood on it. So figured why not, beats buying a pair of goggles. Wife thinks I'm a little weird.

Haha, you built the box of shame, aka the crazy box! I had one much like it. First time I tried it hw patrol pulled over. Second time it was county sheriff who wanted to know what I was up to. I used it for another six months or so, worked great BTW, but only from secluded flying spots

Now that IS clever. I wish I'd thought of it. If I did, I wouldn't have gotten a crick in my neck from the 17" computer monitor I mounted in a box.
