Wayne, I think at that size the thickness of the wing becomes too small it it again becomes fragile like the Park Jet you mentioned. Perhaps what you want to do is have a part of the wing detach to make smaller for transportation. Or get yourself a small quad. The quad I have been working on fits inside this case from Maplin once you remove the props and I should be able fit my ground station and TX in there too once it is all arranged carefully. http://www.maplin.co.uk/high-impact-case-large-228650

Yep foldable or 'brakedownable' may be the solution. Quad wise i'm sorted thanks but good luck with your design. I do have a selection of peli cases left over from old training kits i use, one of them is big enough to take a 600mm Y6 with the gimbal attached. Its not just about fitting in a box, its about fitting in a small box. An FPV plane that will go in a hand luggage size box would be awesome.

Maplin=My most hated retail experience

Your KK2.0 shipped today. TNT next day as it was easier than learning to use the new Royal Mail franking machine

I bought that case when they had it on sale for 40. It's a very good case and is big enough to fit my TBS Discovery in without the props.

Looks good but I've still got two planes to build.
Well I read some of the thread and then found this from the designer:

do not use less than 4s 5000mah battery, otherwise head is light
Hmm,
Sounds like every other badly designed plane that came out of China.
Hey! Some of us don't want to put bricks in our planes! Why can't you people put the CG somewhere near the battery bay (or make the nose longer)?

Well I guess I'll have to wait for the one I ordered from HK to arrive - sometime in the future.

Yep my pins were in the right order as well but I got a flashing red light when I plugged it in upside down!

Try the RadJet 420. Will require micro gear but flies on rails =]
Will be building one next month =]

It is a damn shame, I know some are gonna load the front up with a 3D gopro setup and a super starlite cam on a 3 degrees of freedom robotic arm with a 10,000mah 4S setup. But I'd like the option to have it setup with a conservative motor, a 2200mah cell and have a smashing glide rate!

Oh we'll, better get my hot wire cutter out if I want that sort of setup.
