Sweet! That flies great. How much throttle were you using?
If that was full throttle, you will gain some speed with the repitched 3 blade at the expense of flight time.
You should send some pics to Guillows, they will add it to the builder's gallery.

thanks glenn,i can cruise around @ 1/2 throttle and most of the flight was @ 3/4 throttle.i did some rolls and loops @ first full throttle but the footage wasn't the greatest.there was a few min. of battery left when i brought it in so i'm looking forward to the 3 blade.
i will look into the guillows gallery

Cool build I just bought this kit the other day and was thinking of doing the same thing with the guts I pulled out of a little Sukhoi micro.

i'm sure the sukhoi running gear would fly this model great. one thing though, gut out the fuse formers if you do this build .since there's no rubber power they don't need to be as beefy as they are and this build did take 1/4 oz in the nose to get c/g. I could have gutted out of the tail and aft fuse to get it.

How much material would you suggest leaving and should I remove it from the formers and the main spars(not sure if that's what it's called but the piece that runs the length of the cuz on top and bottom that all the formers attach to) or should I remove it just from the formers?

I use medium ca and activator.here is a pic of my bf109 kit 401 where you can see how much I gutted from the aft fuse formers.you can take out quite a bit and sand 1/4 of the 1/16 spars away.there will still be plenty to keep the air frame ridged.

Ok thanks. On yours how do you access your radio gear if you need to get to it?

well, that is a problem, but only if something goes wrong.if I had to I would just xacto whatever covering and balsa I need to and patch it up when the repair is made..so far so good though after nearly 2 dozen flights with no issues except slamming into the side of my truck after a crummy hand launch last winter.even then it just tossed the spinner and broke a couple of wing spars.i was able to ca them with a pin hole tip and some thin ca.you could make the wing bolt on like Glenn did on his FW190.
these air frames are tough! I have had more than a few cartwheel landings with these planes and minimal damage where as i'm sure I would have torn a wing with my pz um p-51.

ok cool. I'm thinking I might try and either bolt the wing on or pin it at the front of the wing and do something similar the the canopy quick release at the back.
