I think it is a British Dassel clone. I had one and I believe it was called a "Factor".
It could be built at 84" or clipped to 2 meter. It was Epoxy glass fuse with Obechi foam wings. You can get an original Dassel from Martin Webershalk he has the moulds from the AME team. LJ

Nailed it. Looking at the front of the canopy you will see that it matches the Sitar Special. The Dassel had a square cut on the front and back used as an airbrake, The S.S. has a more attractive conventional line. LJ

Lucky break! Bit before my time these designs.

The Sitar Special has a cult following over here, NIB kits are very rare and expensive. I prefer more floaty things!

I think the Factor was spelt with two 'c's (Facctor) and was produced by Viking Models.

Sure I saw a thread on one of the forums on it.
