Well, my Cobra is no more It was flying perfect and I was coming around for final it just nosed down and went straight in I was able to salvage quite a few items but the airframe was total loss. Upon review of the carnage I believe one of the bullets came loose in flight. I had sparked one of the packs last week but it did not seem loose. I should have replaced them so lesson learned the hard way.

Here's a pic of it from LA Jets last weekend. I will definitely get another one.

Sorry to hear about your loss. It was a beautiful paint job. Your next one will probably look even better.

Ouch, sorry to hear that Wyld. At least with hobbyking it will be cheaper to replace parts or the entire plane than most equivalent models!

Sorry to hear that , almost had the same result on the weekend, had a brown out,
don't know if it was the standard BEC, my RX or a servo glitching, so they are all going.

These are the last pics of wyldkrd's Cobra/Mig-28, taken during the fatal flight.

Sorry to hear that Wyld man. Bob lost his yesterday too I guess so that's 2 less at our field. He sucked in an elevator servo wire and shorted out the RX is the best guess. Wish I could have seen the flight. He's got (had) a hot setup in it.
After hearing about that the other Bob decided to check a few more things before his maiden so I got to fly his 2 packs in mine so a bonus 2 flights today with 3700 mAh packs.

Sorry to hear about the jet. I had a brown out the other day then only two gear would come down. Belly was easy. I ordered one of the park plastic canopies. I'm kind of making my own from the parts and one of my old canopies. Will post pics once I'm done.
