Putting the plane on his wheels in the back of the car is what messed them up for me. They never roll more than a few feet on the ground, but in the car they shake around a lot.

RC56 or canopy glue is the best for glueing the foam wheels on the hubs. Its clear and flexible and sticks well to both materials.

Yeap... ciano glue works too, but sometimes its harden and cracks or melt the foam tire with time, so if the ciano is not foam safe ..., canopy glue works better, at least for me..., anyway that is a long proccess and during first month is not neccesary generally any kind of glue to fix the foam tires...
And speaking of this area... a tip that I use for a more secure fix of the pants and remove when neccesary; ( fly on the beach for example ) is to glue a blind nut into the fairing and use washers and machined screws... this way is not a permanent pants and more user friendly...
Regards all.
Manolo.

That is a good tip on the wheel pants. I just completed my build of the XL and my third Addiction. The two prior where Addiction X.

1. Put the silver soldered Phillips screws in the trash. They are used on wheel pants and the cowl. As substitute I used black alan key self tapping screws.

2. Get you wife to help with the removal of the clear backing on the hinge seals. I think a majority of my build time was picking at the covering to get the backing off.

The Rx mounting deck is loaded with holes and does not have much meat (as most of the plane...good thing) I could not find a good spot for the Cortex Gyro so I cut a Carbon plate and screwed it to where the Rx is intended to be.

Great advice on both accounts, I just built yet another ADX for a flying friend.

Nice gyro! I use those on a few non 3D planes, killer setup

Has anyone used 7245's in the ADXL? If so, what ESC are you using or the stock ESC with external BEC?

Nope, stock esc is 6V, but the 7245 will work fine at 6v!
