Its the same plane made by VQ and sold at Hobby People. These are old planes. They started out as Nitro Planes and then they redid them so they can be flown electric .

I don't want to hijack the thread, but you guys seem knowledgeable about VQ, etc. Do you know anything about VQ's 20-size Fly Baby that's listed on the Hobby People site now? I've been looking for a decent Fly Baby sized so as to fit in my Subaru but haven't been able to find much info . . .

Build Log, Flight info?

Seems like not a lot of interest in this one? Any one had a go yet?

I ask because I have an eflite power 90 looking for a new home after writing off my Hanger9, 60 size blue nose P51 earlier this year. Parts unavailable in Aust without paying stupid amounts of money.

Figure this may be a bit over powered but that beats the hell out of under powered!

While the price is quite attractive IMO, as mentioned above it is too standoffish scale with regard to outline. I could overlook that, but the film covering, yuch!

VQ could have used ultra/monokote type of film instead of the printed sticky, low quality, vinyl shelf paper looking stuff.

I have the VQ Stik and it is a nice enough model, I don't understand why they would skimp on the covering material.

Its marked down to $123.45 on the HK pop-up, shipped from International warehouse .....hmmmmm.

Would be way way way overpowered , I had this plane with a G46 5s and that flew very well even had to add a ounze of weight in the tail for balance.

Yeah price was what drew me in.
That and I was looking for a balsa warbird that didnt have the name brand price tag. The hanger 9 Blue nose kit is $579 (aust)
I guess that when you are looking at such a big price discrepancy, there has got to be trade offs?
