Now I've looked at it a little closer (after steadying myself against a wall), I can see why it had cobra on the name...

When the plane has gone beyond vertical, the fuselage and wings resemble a Cobra head.

I'm Now Hollowing Out The HUGE-MD-82's tail section making it feather-lite!

I seriously have to start a separate Build thread for the Bigger scale MD-82 and 90, I will try and start that thread on my Blog Next week.

Twa DC-9 "little-9"

I've now cut out the TWA DC-9's Balsa engine pylons and have hot-wired her Styrofoam engine nacells, this super-lite Styrofoam is not only half the weight of heavier insulation foam its also WAAAY easier to sand into shape.

DD, that Styrofoam looks a lot like what I'm using on the 4-0-4's nacelles. I don't have a lot of it, and I'm not real confident in my hot wiring skills. I have resorted to rough shaping with a hacksaw blade, then closer trimming with a scraping blade, then sanding. The lightweight spackle goes on nice and the parts sand well.
I'll try to get an update posted, I have the top nacelles done, starting on the bottom.
