Marty... I often thin it with water, and I am sure you could feed in some micro-balloons. I would guess a TOA store would have it, but at a 125 baht, the local builders might think it is too expensive!

I know what you mean. The other day I happened to see an electric feed laying on the ground feeding some carnival rides, big heavy cable, probably good for 100A service, plugged in with one of those 10 baht lamp cord connectors rated at 5A or less.

We are fine here and no damage. We sure felt it however as lots of stuff was shaking. Unusually high amount of after shocks with this earthquake with one even at 6 AM today. Thanks for asking.

Addition: I flew my Tiger 2 just before the quake yesterday, and decided to call it a day as the sky was so overcast and it was getting hard to see the plane. Almost flew in an earthquake, which would have been a first!

Having lived in California for over 30 years shakers are the norm. Yes, I was living about 1 mile from the epicenter of '94 Northridge quake.

Yesterday, at Homepro, I purchased the Alfil and also Aqua Gloss water base enamel. Have you used this paint? Will start experimenting today on some scrap foam.

Thanks for your feedback,
Marty

Never thought about using that as I fly glow and it has to be fuel proof. A local hardware store sells spray lacquers that seem to work pretty good for the little paint I use. MonoKote is on all my planes with only a small bit of paint.

By the way, did you find the filler?

Yes, I got the filler. I scratch build foamie electric planes, currently working on a full sized (78" WS) Kadet Senior highly modified.

I feel your pain. Take (3) 3 cell packs and wire them in series, that will give you a 9 cell pack. Just be sure that all the packs are the same rating.

Also, FYI, DD Hobby in Lat Krabang, Bangkok stocks a lot from Hobby King, You might check with him, pricey, but after shipping and customs, maybe not so bad. http://www.hobbydd.net
