That's vinyl, I tried to achieve a similar look on mine with 3m matte vinyl and failed horribly, maybe that carbon fiber look vinyl is thicker but the one I used looked very ugly because of the wing imperfections

You need to do a lot of sparkling and sanding if you want to use vinyl and not have a lot of imperfections. It's a lot of work, but looks great if you're willing to put in the time. Unfortunately, it gets ruined on your first bad launch or landing and makes repairs difficult as it's hard to repair and have it look as nice. Id just do a good job with paint and go from there. Took me longer to do my vinyl than it took to build my Zii.

I just flew 7.1 miles/11.5km on Monday which is my best so far for the Z2. I used 3400mah to fly out and back; total for the flight was 4090mah for 21 minutes covering 16.8 miles in all. I had to engage RTH while flying over some powerlines about 4.5 miles out coming home due to video dropping out; RTH flew for one mile and video returned. It's moments like this I am glad the Vector was installed and working properly. I am flying with 200mW 1.3Vtx and crosshair; hope to try for 10 miles with the pepperbox later this spring. Z2 is a sweet ride.

Thanks Gharddog, I wanted to test out the range of the 200mW and Z2. My Z3 has the same setup and video dropped out at the same location the flight prior to the Z2. I kinda figured the video was going to go out on the Z2; just wanted to see if the video dropping was my GS or Vtx. Happy flying.
