hi

Interesting info..
the 1st one is erm 'pricey' @$80 given that one also needs an esc and likely extra add-ons  2nd one seems as a reasonable to experiment with gizmo imo. Time set; LVC left to the rc ESC and retract deployment at end of run.. wasn't sure what brings the retracts up though? Still like the idea of a Rx and control handle thumb controls Complete sophisticated 2.4ghz systems can be had for $15 ! |

There are many of us using cheap 2.4GHz radios to run the throttle on our C/L planes. It's not yet legal to do so for competition in most classes/countries though it seems to be coming. So wanting to compete is probably the best reason for using a timer but good ones certainly are expensive.

Check out RSM Distribution.com. Depending on your requirements, aLso look at the KR Timer, which has interesting capabilities....
