I'm looking for an AT-6 Texan kit. Something easy to moderate to build. Nothing bigger than a 40" inch WS. I was looking at the GWS kit as well as house of balsa and the herr kits. Something within those price ranges will be good.

Thanks for the info a foam one would be good. Whats a good site that sells the the texan with good shipping prices?

I'd recommend the Herr. Loose the landing gear and belly it in for scale looks. I have their P-51 with a E-Flite 480 and 3S 2200 mah's. Flies incredibly well and looks great, better than foam.

Great video, looks like she flies like a dream! the one thing i'm worried about with a balsa kit is covering it. i just finished a gulliows hurricane build i know its tissue but the covering job was a little sloppy.

I would go with the World Models AT-6. easy build and comes with power or use your own. pluse retracts installed, there are a little small but work pretty good. I fly mine with a 450 and 30 amp esc and it really flies well ...Jimmy

the world models texan looks great its just out of my price range and to big thanks for the information i appreciate it.

I had the HOB T6. Take your time to build it straight. Just remember to keep up speed on landings. Great flying plane, I had a .25 in mine years ago.

Have you received it yet? If so, is it really EPO instead of beer cooler type EPS? If so that's a nice deal for $35 bare airframe.

It says EPO on the box, but I don't know the difference between the two!!! It's very stiff though!!! How can you tell the difference?

EPS is the very fragile/brittle type of foam. EPO is a more spongy, dent resistant, less fragile type. If you've not had both types it will be hard for you to tell. Post some pics of that bad boy!!

nice find, hopefully it is epo, either way nice find. Are the ailerons really as long as they look if so you definitely won't need very much throw at all. I got a p 47 bare airframe from them the other day i really like it. Have you selected a motor yet for it? www.headsuprc.com has a great selection with excellent info for 2 dollars shipping. No ones mentioned the RBC Kits AT6, very nice kits CNC balsa/ply, enjoyable to build, W/S at around 42". I'm not sure of a stockist in the US anymore but below is there website.

I've got there P36, I'll be starting that this spring.
