Fat Shark Predator - head tracker cables for other TX's?
I just got in a key component of my first FPV system, the Fat Shark Predator goggles...
Question: They come with a nice plug and play head tracker cable IF you are apprarently a Futaba user... I'm using a HiTec Aurora 9 - I'm assuming you would use the trainer port and modify this cable? What are you guys doing for specific head tracker cables for the Fat Shark? Is there a wiring diagram posted somewhere? If the trainer port is used I would need to do some soldering and splicing?... Thanks

Hi CatusJackSlade,
The Aurora 9 doesn't support the head tracker. The Aurora 9 only has selective channel assignment for the 4 primary controls (not for the higher channels 5-9). Fat Shark Quote:

Hummm, that's too bad..
... I'm not sure what you mean about the primary channels only being selective... you mean only the primaries can produce a signal through the trainer port?... as to where the Futaba sends all channel info through the trainer plug? So is there a hack or work around? Thx |

I asked in another thread, The DX8 seems to work with the fatshark headtracker, I currently have a JR 12x and it has the same single plug like the DX8, will the 12X work?

Anyone knows what is Fatshark Predator headtrack pinout. Need to make a cable for Futaba 7cap. A connection diagram would be nice too.
