Help!
Sopwith Camel 1/5 scale scratch

Hi I have started builing a Sopwith camel but the plans I am using are not the best for details. Traplett plans.
So while I am cutting all the bits and pieces and as I am looking at the plans they do not show much about the rigging ie flying wires tailplane rigging etc.
Maybe somebody can steer me in the right direction to get hold of all that info please.
Regards Paul

I don't know what size that is, but my Sterling Stearman, at 64" upper wing, flies just great with an OLD OS91, if that helps.

It'll do just fine. Cruise at 1/2 throttle.

Made some further progress decided to make the cowling as it is almost impossible to to purchase one anywhere. Took a while, made a polug out of plystyrene foam covered it with plastic of some sort and started glassing it with polyester resin.
Not a good idea as the polyester just attacks the foam I found out, learning all the time anyway got it done in the end.
Just one request I would like to put in a dummy radial you guys have any idea where to get a decent one. 1/5 scale opening in cowling 140mm

Remember that you seldom, if ever get raw fuel on the cowling. I painted the Sterman prop with Model Masters enamel, and the only black showing now, years later, is from wear, not fuel.

For a model of that size I think you did admirably at building the tail light to get away with only 1.8 lbs in the nose.
