I still don't know what a TP 21 class motor is (neither does google), but searching for the 2208/2212 motors led me to the bphobbies equivalents of the AXI motors of the same designations. This puts me in the 40g-50g weight, 130W-180W max watts range. I just happen to have an EMax 2822, 40g, 177W max, 1300KV motor with the ESC & servos on hand that came out of a recently deceased plane. Should be able to have my Hog Wild in the air in short order after my kit arrives. Getting stoked. |

A 10-12 mph wind helps if you want to fly your combat plane "3D". Note that this one has a rudder (and can perform a perfect inverted flat spin.) Low battery prevented the wing from being able to pull back out of the hover. Enjoy.

I've seen two hogs lock up spiral to about ten foot off the deck , break free and both fly away. It was my son's and mine, with about 20 others in the air.
Bobby built a 200% hog from foam and painted a big target on the bottom and flew low lazy circles, he offered a new kit to who ever took it out. It didn't last long. |

Man, you've got me wanting to get in on some of that.
20+ planes in the air, all with ill intent towards anyone that gets close. ![]() 2 planes hooking up, get close to the deck, and both recover. ![]() Occasional target drone floating by. ![]() What a hoot! If y'all have a weekend long, come-one-come-all type event some of these days, please post it. I would seriously consider making the trek east if I was not working. Top side paint on my Hog is drying. |

We just had our spring fun fly , June 2-3. We will have another this fall. I'll get the date on here. Will have a large crowd for sure. And great food.
BTW, I mailed your decals this AM. So should be there by Monday. I went thru Harrison a few weeks ago. Took my wife to Eureaka for a few days. Went out and flew at the Silver Wings Museum. |

Not much of a photohog, but here's what I've got. Waiting on servos to arrive from HeadsupRC. Those guys don't mess around, I won't be waiting for long. Should be close enough to get the idea across.
Setup summary: Motor - EMax CF 2822 Prop - GWS DD 8040 ESC - T Bird 18A Rcvr - OrangeRX Servos - TowerPro MG90 Top painted with Krylon Fusion rattle can from Wally World. Bottom done with packing tape. Graphics included with kit. All 6 glue joints are medium foam safe CA. Not counting paint drying, total assembly time was 5 hrs, and I'm a slow builder. Next chance to fly will be Tuesday morning. Hope I get rained out, though. |
