Was still going to ask.which VG's do you guys think would suite the slick best? the Bandit ones?

Media & society in general are poorly educated in all forms of firearms, it think an education program for media types at a sports firing range would prove ideal, they may perhaps learn that firearms are no more dangerous that driving a vehicle....Some should not ever drive a vehicle though.

Guys, there is a RCG forum called 'Life the Universe and Politics' for discussion of subjects like gun control.. Take it there please, it has NO place here.

I put the one off the Extra260. So just the outside SFG's and not the small little VG that go across the wing surface.

Thought I'd try the keep it simple approach first.

The PA 260 is most definitely on my shopping list in the next few months

Chop stix,
depends on what your looking for in a plane regarding the PA Extra260.

They are nice planes, but buggers to build and fly pretty good.

If you want the best flying extra in that scale go for the EF 48" extra, its a great plane on 3s or 4s depending on motor/prop combo.

If you want the cheaters 3D balsa plane get the EF 48" edge. It makes everything else look like a challenge and it flys super clean as well as easy 3D stuff.

Thanx mr Big Roger,but I prefer PA.I have fallen inlove with them and the EF planes just dont bite to me as much as PA.I have a mate that recently got a PA 260 and the build was really not that hard at all.He had quite hectic shipment damage and had to do some repair work to the wings,but he found the build quite easy...

I live in South-Africa,so a 2nd hand PA 260 in AUS wont work...lol rather get a new one from PA but thanx for the suggestion

I'd love to be posting some build photos of my Slick but UK customs are still sitting on the package. Seems crazy that it can travel most of the way round the world in 24 hours but the journey across the UK customs warehouse has taken three days and counting

Do you guys in other parts of the world have the same customs delays?

That's strange I have never had anything held in customs for more than a few hours what did you select for your customs manifest??? did you use the default setting??

Yes, default setting, which 'gift' marks it. Maybe the customs guys are tightening up on all the 'gifts' coming from China?

I did a bit of Googling which indicated it's normal for EMS packages to be in UK customs for 48 hours, but I'm well over that already.
