I've been running this on a 2800mAh 4S 30C batt weighing in at 299g and find it does extremely well CG and power wise. I don't use the scale spinner though rather a light alloy nose cone which iI find is easy to tighten and remove.

Been using the spinner from my parkzone wildcat on mine-fits perfectly.

That's nice to know. Are you using the durafly prop shaft with the PZ wildcat aluminum prop hub? Threads match? Just making sure I'm reading you loud and clear.

Yup. Fitted fine, a little smaller in size than the stock hub but I think it looks better. Best of luck flying her. I was bothered by the flaps so I did the split flap mod. Easy to do and looks so much better to me.

Oops no i don't, i remember seeing the link early on in this thread-was actually from another plane. Will try and find it, if not take some pics and see if i can explain what i did. I have never cut flaps before and even i found it quite easy to do.

My Stuka flap mod is similar to LimitingFactor's. He and I fly together. Check my blog under the Stuka Flaps. I used a credit card cut like a chevron to connect the two. The inner most flap is slave to the outer. Glue the chevon to the outer and just coat the inner with some epoxy to strengthen up the skin. I also used dry silicon lube on the credit card chevron to make it function easier.

Yup, quityer is pretty spot on with his mod. The only difference is that i glued some painted chinese food container instead of a credit card. Glued the middle flap on either side and a slot to move up and down in the outer two. And from where i cut out i went to home depot and go some flat latex paint . Behr 37 82 29 140 is the colour they matched off my plane-its close but not perfect but honestly you wont notice it at all once you attach your flaps-cost me only about 2 dollars and i have tons left.

I have just ordered a pair (hopefully) of those great metal trunnions as well.
How did you fathergoat attach the wheels to them? Did you just bend the struts? And how did you fix the snap-ring?

hi guys,

i received my metal trunnion from PW-RC yesterday. They look good except that the pins (both of'em) were bent during transportation.

i gonna test them in flight this week-end and will let you know, like fathergoat already did, how they accept my hard landings
