Way back when..
At our club meeting last night, we were discussing early ready-to-run model boats .One member was talking about his father's Triang model boat - called the 'Three' which he still has, although in bad condition. No one else had a clue about the other boats in the series.
Apparently this model was one of a series of pre-WW2 wooden boats - this one is 23" long - and is a sort of cabin cruiser with a vertical bow. I've now found on a local site -http://www.vectis.co.uk/Page/Index.aspx a model 4 in the same series. has anyone any information about the series? Maybe a discussion on early boats? |
