I am in the market to get one of these planes, and I am looking for the best performer. I have flown the 48 inch edge and I love it, but I have also flow the 71 inch slick and equally love it. If any of you guys can help me choose a plane, I would be grateful.

I currently own the 58 inch extreme flight extra 300 with a saito 82, but I am looking to go all electric.

Also, which is better, the 48 edge 540 or the 48 extra 300.

If you can wait couple of week the new 60" Extreme Flight Extra EXPs will be in. Out of all the planes we are talking about, that will proably be the very best one.

In my opinion the EF 48" Edge and 3DHS 51" Slick are the best flying planes in that size.

If you want something bigger then the 60" EF Edge is also a great flying plane and fly's a lot like the 70" Slick that I once owned. I've flown the 59" Slick and didn't care for it because for me it flew more like an extra then a Slick - not that thats a bad thing it's just for me I like Edges and Slicks the best.

For me right now nothing beats the convenience, price point and great flying of the 48" Edge and 51" Slick and both EF and 3DHS provide stellar service.

Im no Doc Austin for sure but here is a video of my 59 slick when I first got it. Being new I was still a bit twitchy with it.

The 51 slick is just awesome(one of my favorite planes) have had 4 of them and put about 2000 flights on them!
I have only had one flight on the EF 48 edge and one on the EF 48 extra. I like the edge MUCH more as it reminded me of the 51 slick. Both are GREAT planes.

To me the 59 slick is the child of a 51 slick and a 65 vyper. Its a mix between the two. Its more patternee and smooth compared to the 51 but not as smooth and patternee as the 65 vyper. But since I have the 59 I cant wait to compare it to the 60 edge!

when i flew my dads slick 71, it flew very well, but it didn't do anything to really test the limits, but today i flew his edge 540 exp 48, i loved it because it was insane!

But based on the videos I have seen on the 51 and 59 slick it is also really crazy......i don't know what to choose

The only problem that I have with my 58 inch extra is that with use of elevator past half stick, it twists out of loops and walls.

I'm just wondering which airframe is the most exciting to fly

What batteries do you already have? If you have 4S 2200's I would go with the EF 48" Edge. If you have 4S 2650's then go with the 51" Slick.

This was the same day with the 71 slick (I think this video turned out a bit better) I felt more comfertable with the 71 even though I was flying it in more wind
