repairing a servo hs-81 hitec
After a bad crash with my easystar last week the elevetor servo "broke".
What it does is that half a circle turns easily as if there is nothing inside.
I got a new one this week and today after a crash the same thing hapened
with the same servo.
I opened it but seemed complicated to fix it. Is there any guide or something
explaining how the work and potentially a fixing guide for novice users?
The servo is the hitec hs-81
Thanks and sorry for the bad english.

The usual damage to a servo is some of the teeth stripped from a gear. You can buy replacement gear sets, just do a search on 'gear set hs-81'.
You can buy a metal geared hs-81 which is much stronger.
Alternately, stop crashing

Replacing the gearset on an HS-81 servo is simple provided you're methodical and note which gear goes where when you're disassembling them.
The metal-gear set can be installed as a replacement for the original plastic gears if you wish. I've done this with most of my HS-81s after I found how fragile the plastic gears are.
