Having realised learning a new flight controller on my giant octocopter build
might not be the safest nor the brightest of ideas I decided to build a
medium sized bird to experiment on.
I also want something better than the Phantoms to hang on my backpack when hiking in the mountains.
So I ordered the following items:
Tarot 680 Pro Foldable Hexacopter
6 x Sunnysky X4108S 600KV
6 x Hobbywing Platinum Pro 30A OPTO ESC
- 3 Pair x 1355 CF Propeller
ArduPilot Mega 2.6 Flight Controller
UBLOX NEO-6M & MAG GPS module
FrSky 2.4GHz ACCST Taranis X9D Transmitter
2 x FrSky X8R 8/16CH Receiver (one is for the GoPro Phantom)

I like your build. I'm considering building hexacopter (or a quad) like this and I would like something that could fold up and attach to a backpack. Do you have any pictures of it folded up and attached to a backpack?
I have a Phantom 1 that I have been flying a bunch but now I'm curious about building something. How does it fly compared to the phantom?
