I have the MD530 now and used to have the EXP version

Don't run 1800 headspeed !!!!!

The heli will wobble and have a spaz attack on landing

I have set my MD530 to 2200 rpm and it flys so much better

leave the rest of the settings to default but you will loose a little flight time but it will actually fly very well

Also buy some wood or carbon main blades for it too the foams are crap

Good to see that this thread is still active even though the production/promotion of the Innovator by Thunder Tiger is dead, dead, dead.
I picked up a used Expert but have not got (gotten?) around to doing anything with it yet.
Will Windows VISTA operate successfully with the software?
Thanks for taking the time to read this posting.
Any information gratefully received,
Tony

Was flying an EXP on Saturday.... MD530 flybars, foam blades, and 1800 head speed ... flies lovely for what I'm doing, no wobble, lands no hassle.

Certainly seems some are fine at lower head speed and some wobble, wonder what the difference is

Yup sure am .... does just fine for what I need right now, flies real good and proving reliable .... apart from the last weird failure, never did get to the bottom of that.

But am going to dabble in the "dark side" shortly ... just ordered a FrSky Taranis Tx and a quad kit to play with, want to do some arial photos. The Tx will do just fine for future helis too

Hi

first flight with MD530 , first 5 minutes went ok , after that he went to the right
and hit the ground , both blades were broken

Before i had no blade track and now i have blade track of 0,5inch , i replaced the main shaft and used several new blades but still i have blade track
What could be wrong?

I'm also still flying my inno Exp with the battery hack.

Using wood@2200rpm or carbon@2300-2600rpm.

Flying good so far, waiting to completely destroy it before going to a bigger heli without flybar but overall I'm very happy from this toy compared to the alternatives.

Best,
Niki

Me too, and still loving it, hope to be flying it for a good while yet As Ritchie says it flies well, sad it has been discontinued.
