My APM voltage regulator busted?

When i messure the voltage at the IC2 pins i get between 1.6 and 2.6, is it busted or could something else be causing it to behave in such a way?

I was reading about someone fixing it without soldering using a Arduino nano/mini to power it with 3.3v, anyone here tried it?

The I2c pins are INPUTS. You need to measure the output of the 3.3v regulator.

hm ok, cant find my multimeter atm but ill redo the test over it.
But the reason i was thinking it was the regulator is because im getting stuck after installing firmware and starting up mission planer and hitting connect im getting stuck at "Got param rc1_min" and after some reading i've found that people are saying thats an common error when the voltage regulator is broken.

So my next question is how are you connecting? USB or telemetry radios?

If your GPS and compass are working, the 3.3 volt regulator is good...

Hm ok? I don't know if the gps and compass is working since every time I try to connect the apm to any computer I get the error I've told you about.

If not the voltage regulator, then what could we wrong?

Ok, this is my last shot.

Disconnect the APM from every thing, RX, ESCs, GPS, and power module.

Connect the APM to your computer and try to connect.

If that fails the APM is toast...
