New Product
The wait is over, JETFAN-80 is released and on stock!

Hi caps,

Again we are proud to introduce our brand new JETFAN-80.
The units are on stock, the first 100 pieces will be priced with €88,- incl. the VAT,
for US the VAT will be removed always.
Same for Canada or similar countries, named "Over seas"

After the first batch of 100 JETFAN-80, we have to increase the pricing maybe!

See the pics and the table of released motors.

Incredible values included!
Could some one imagine, how big the "BINNNNGGG" was, as the big 200 Amps ESC said NO, at more than 50.000 rpm's?

The ESC lost one phase, and the motor was breaked in within Milli-seconds.
This happened at a measured thrust of 5,2 Kilos and 12s 5500 with 124 Amps.
Nothing happened to the fan, only the nut of the shaft adapter gets loose. But the screw of the spinner was holding anything in place,
After this, we continued the rest of the testing with this unit, and i will use it in my HABU-32 up to 10s!

So this is at the moment the maximum thrust 2b reached, only for us of course (have no better ESC at the moment)

BUT we definately do not release the usage of this fan for more than 4 Kilos of thrust at the moment, we have to make more tests 2b sure. It's to dangerous for us as a manufacturer, so we have to be on the save side!

Enjoy the pic's.
YOU CAN USE MOTORS UP TO 41mm outside diameter, the outer dimensions of the new JETFAN-80 are exactly like the Delta-V 32, so you don't have to change anything but the unit. Also the origin thrust tube can be used again!
If somebody is flying a HABU-32, of course

This is not a Stumax NS!
We know that! It's something else.
I personally will probably get one to play with.
But my Stu will fly my plane!

Is the rotor for this fan specially made for this? 9blades ?

The original E-flite rotor has 5blades.
Tamjet has a remaked Wemo rotor with 6blades.

I dont fully understand what rotor has the best performance.

Are you after the best performance or noise reduction???....As a rule---This fan will produce less noise but not be as efficient as other fans that produce more noise...Noise vs performance seems to be a compromise between the two...

Ok..
I am after a fan / motor combo for the Habu32 that is faster than stock without breaking the bank.
i have also looked at Megamotor combos with the original E-flite fan.

A big advantage with this fan is that it can take bigger diameter motors.

Again the same video!

Hi caps,
No idea who already has seen this.

It's the very first prototyp of the JETFAN-80, made in a few minutes by cutting down a JETFAN-90 rotor and implantig in an old 80mm prototype shroud.

here we didn't balance the rotor or motor, because we simple had no time for it.
The motor is an old MEDUSA 36-75- 2300KV. Really old with bad bearings!

But i suppose it has only 2100 KV's under load, because in the meantime the HEt-700-60-2085 or the Medusa36-75-1 with 2080 does have the same thust and Amps.

Our released JETFAN-80 out from serial parts is running a bit smoother, but the noise is always pending by the inlets and thrust tubes.

I personally do not know how much the influence of the gap between the inlets at the HABU-32 is, but we will make tryouts with "closed gap" too.

Enjoy the video, here the Medusa takes 89Amps build in!

Very nice Ranier.
Nice 6S setup.
Tell Peter that the Habu will land a lot slower than he did in the video with full flaps....lol

Landing on the video

Hi,
Yes, Peter got it in the meantime! Saw personally many fine landings in the meantime.
Now i will be ready to fly my own HABU within a few days, so then i can make the same experiences!

Best greetings, Rainer
