6HV-Ultimate; Test Flight #3

As long as we are doing this...

A bit of geezer flying...

6HV-U
JR8717's on Cyclic
JR 8900G on Rudder
HobbyWing 70 Amp HV ESC (Throttle Curves and Cyclic to Throttle Mixing-No Governor)
Robird G31 FBL Unit
Western Robotics Super Hercules BEC

3rd flight, short due to insect climbing on my neck...

6HVU3A - YouTube

Sharp, precise, stable, and incredibly quick on cyclic (even at 2020 RPM-tached).

More simulator-like than any other ship I have ever flown-AMAZING!

Even if you don't care for the looks, you will love the way it flies!

It is a Compass Steve. You may want to keep your warp bashing dulled down here at least. Really, why even bring that up here?

Ah Clem, great news. All the guys I fly with own Compass helis. And have been looking forward to seeing one of these up close. Thanks for the post!

I have about 15 flights on it now, and am most impressed. It flies better than anything in my current stable (I am a collector and have quite a few machines from quite a few different manufacturers).

Sorry that is so vague-I would love to provide more information, but have not been released to do so, at this time.

As soon as we are cleared to do so, I will post more info here.

Geezer flight? I am 25 years old and I will never be able to fly like that. Nice machine!

Thank you, but the young kids just blow my doors off. It seems that everything that I do,in comparison, is quite tame and appears to be in slow motion.

And at 25, you will be easily able to out fly me in very short order...

...of course, a 6HV-U will help!

Hey, I just saw one in person at one of the local heli meets. A Compass sponsored pilot that has flown with our small group has one. And wow can that thing fly! I looked it over pretty thoroughly. This is one well sorted out heli. I love the thing. LMH

Compass brand doesn't seem too popular on RcGroups but good luck on the 6hv-u launch !Im sure it will go better this time, but with so many new models to choose from ,the competition is going to be tough!

Thanks. We're not too concerned. The pre orders were only just started the other day and selling like gang busters.

As more people see it fly, it will also gain more popularity.
