"There is no such thing".....as slope soaring

nothing about linkage, airfoil, lipo, servo, transmitter, gfk, cfk, f3f, f3b, f3j...

JUST ORDINARY SLOPE SOARING, from my point of view.
My last months in moving pictures

...There is no such thing... as slope soaring :D (6 min 17 sec)

Easily, one of the finest slope video productions I've seen. Awesome, inspiring, artful and
"uplifting." Bookmarked in the event that I forget why I fly slope. Thanks you. -Paige

Very nice, really captures the magic and why I am still sloping after 40 years, flown several of those sites.

That would have been so much better with a bit more snap flap, ballast & reflex

Excellent - thanks for reminding me why I like this slope thing - boots, windproofs, waterproofs...
and those magic moments to remember

Phil.

Wow, thanks a lot. Wouldn't have thought that so many people like to watch my stuff.
I wouldn't describe myself as "cool" my wife would probably lough about that
The landscape is really "cool" and was often breathtaking in the UK.
I am slope soaring for maybee 6Years and hope to to do it for 40 years as well.
The fanatic hype has disappeared but the magical part will be there forever.

If you have ever done soaring i think it will follow you your whole life. You don't need a video to remember, but it is nice to hear that you would use mine.

Phil, don't hide your fantastic videos. Just found that one.

Fox over Moel Famau (2 min 52 sec)
again.
Really great.

Greetings, Kai

Great video, but one suggestion - you should add the names of the sites as they come up (I recognise quite a few, but not all). Still a fantastic production though!

I like the environment you UK folks slope in: Grass to land on, snow on the ground, plentiful wind, and it looks cold. There's a lot of great flying on the US west coast as well. We just have more than our fair share of rocks, gravel, manzanita bushes, and scrub brush to mess up our planes in the LZ
I hope to slope in the Uk and many other Europeon spots. Looks great.

Kai, very nice video. Great music and cool mood/affects. I've been a big fan of your videos from day one. And you have some pretty cool planes to boot. Is the Crossover still a favorite of yours?
