Is there a "best" Chinese radio 8ch?

Jr and Futaba are pretty expensive, typically about $400.
Is there a good or name brand "Chinese" radio that people are having success with in the 2.4ghz which uses modules? Module models also seem easy to tap into the transmitter signal outputs. Also, looks like most the aftermarket stuff is made with compatibility for Jr and Futaba radios in mind, i.e. modules, receivers, etc. by FrSky, Rmilec, Orange.
I'll probably use DragonLink as it seems to be fairly trouble free for LRF. Possibly LawMate for video TX.
Also, what should I stay away from?

Turnigy power systems (seems Jr compatible)
Walkera are popular I think.
WFLY also seem to have a large number of people selling them.
Any other manufacture I should consider or stay away from?...
Thanks for your time.

A lot of people have success with the Turnigy 9x (or 9XR now as well).

It has a JR module in it so you can add FrSky setup later, there are multiple third party firmware's available that will give it way more functionality for little to no cost, and it's about $50

Yes, I'll be looking at the Turnigy 9XR. Seems popular and fits JR modules, has trainer port for JR AND Futaba. Looks nice also.
I need a good 400-470 module now though. EzUHF?

Thanks all, ordered an out of stock Turnigy 9XR Transmitter Mode 2 (No Module). Like the futaba and JR trainer ports.

Curious what shipping charge was? It is showing $25.13 to the US for me, but I've seen people on here (there was one for sale in the classifieds that I missed out on) say shipping was $12.

Use the 9XR, Walkera Devo 7 (less than $ 100,-) and a Walkera Devo 10.
If 7 channels are enough, than I really prefer the Devo 7 above the 9XR. 8 ore more channels, I absolutely prefer the Devo 10 far above the 9XR.

I was curious too, so I ran a check to my place, and it was $25.13 for Air Parcel (UNITED STATES) 1000g - 1500g, and $23.59 for International (Registered) Air Mail 1.5kg. This matches with my first quad order from them, which was $23.59 for registered international air mail.

Say what? My first quad order just snuck under the 1.5kg mark, and got mailed from China to central US for $23.59, as I mentioned above.

Whoops, just ready to post, you must be referring to the guy in the classifieds who said his shipping was $12. In that case, it actually sounds slightly high for USA warehouse shipping (to USA), but the 9XR isn't available from the USA warehouse.
