Picked up 2 vikings on my last trip to Prague. Here is my contribution to date, not much compared to the other log. Plan is to use 7s, I may toss the ice 100 in favor of an ice lite, or try to remove the casing from the ice to turn it into an ice lite.... anyone tried this? Perhaps keep the radiator over the fets, and toss the rest?


Will use Hyperion ds-095 for wing throughout, ds11 scg in tail, Hyperion Life rx pack, castle bec, medusa opto, neu 1409, sd-10g receiver, castle quick connect, and my favorite of all, the AWESOME $3 neu microswitch

Be careful with the CC 125 on 6S , it can go from RRRRRRRRRRRRR to SSSSSSSSSSSSSSmoke

Yuri, I would see fewer amps (and power) on 1409 1.5y wit this 6s 17x13 setup, correct?

Rich,You have an opportunity to upgrade,either one or prop or battery/7S/and of course better efficiency.Fuse begging for 8S 3300Mha.

Yuri, to keep the best flying habits of the new Viking 2 E you must keep her AUW up to 3200g only. 3200g is the limit that should not be exceeded. With AUW up to 3000g she will fly exactly in the same way as mine Viking 2 E. If you manage to get AUW up to 2800g she will fly even better. With my new Viking 2 E Race I am aiming exactly at 2800g to squeeze the best out of her. Dalibor

I did calculations on 1509/2D before and I like it too.
But trying to use ,what I have in the tool box and dont need to wait for another two month.

I weighted her with all components ,battery,e.t.c.
Came at 2894 gr. or 102oz but this is without prop/spinner. I dont have it at this time.
